Winter clothing drive: Over 700 items donated!

Winter Clothing 1
One out of several batches of winter clothing donations.

Every year, many homeless individuals are in need of winter clothing – shoes, coats, gloves – to prepare for the cold and sometimes life-threatening weather. In response, RIMNP held a winter clothing drive through the month of December at Alpert Medical School and Brown University’s undergraduate campus. Medical student volunteers sorted the overflowing bags of clothing, shoes, and canned food, and House of Hope CDC distributed these items during street outreach. Thanks to donors in the Providence community, we collected over 700 items!
