On Wednesday, September 6, RIMNP kicked off the new school year with a training for new student navigators. Students came from across the state and many disciplines, including medical and undergraduate students from Brown University, social work students from Rhode Island College, and law students from Roger Williams University. As the night’s keynote, Megan Smith, program manager at the House of Hope and anchoring caseworker on several navigator teams, enriched the training with local and national statistics and personal experiences in caring for those experiencing homelessness.
